Remutaka Cycle Trail Competition – Terms and Conditions

  1. General
  • By entering the Remutaka Cycle Trail competition, you accept the Terms and Conditions set out below.
  • The Promoter of this competition is Wellington Regional Economic Development Agency Limited (t/a WellingtonNZ, alongside the Remutaka Cycle Trail.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if necessary.
  1. Eligibility, competition period and how to enter
  • Entries open at 10am NZST, 12 February 2026 and close at 5pm NZST, 27 February 2026 (the Competition Period).
  • To enter, participants must complete their own submission for the Remutaka Cycle Trail survey within the allocated competition period. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
  • Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Employees of WellingtonNZ and any organisation directly associated with the Remutaka Cycle Trail, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.
  • Entries that do not comply with these Terms may be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion.
  1. Winner selection and notification
  • The winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries on 9am NZST, 2 March 2026. Winners will have 48 hours to confirm acceptance of the prize. If not accepted within 48 hours or if the winner has provided incorrect contact details, the prize will be redrawn. In the event of a second prize draw, if the new winner drawn does not respond to their winner’s notification email within 48 hours, a third prize draw will be undertaken, and so on until the winner is finalised.
  • The prize draw is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  1. Prize conditions
  • The prize is one Prezzy Virtual Card with a NZD$100 credit. Upon acceptance of the prize, the Prezzy Card will be purchased by the Promoter and sent directly to the supplied winner’s email by Prezzy Card.
  • Prezzy Cards terms and conditions apply.
  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for a supplier’s failure to supply the prize and is not obligated to provide an alternative.
  • The prize is non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable.
  1. Publication, privacy and marketing
  • By entering, winners grant permission for their contact details to be provided to any third-party prize supplier solely for the purposes of prize fulfilment.
  • The winner’s name may be published on WellingtonNZ.com, Remutaka Cycle Trail social media channels, and associated newsletters or websites of the Promoter or sponsors.
  • Personal information will be collected and held in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time.
  1. Liability and governing law
  • The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage (including direct, indirect, or consequential loss) suffered in connection with this competition or any prize.
  • These Terms are governed by New Zealand law, and entrants agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
